As a fine artist specializing in drawing and collage, my body of work activates the properties of each technique to explore the intersections between these media. 

My graphite drawings and collages act as explorations of inherited memory, and attempt to better understand the role of a single human life in relation to those it touches.  In these drawings, I seek to create meditative spaces for reflective thought, through layered images that encourage the embrace of quiet contemplation.   I am interesting in exploring the boundary between realism and abstraction, by creating impossible and multifaceted illusionistic spaces for To this end, the figurative imagery in my work, sourced from family photos and other personal materials, is often transformed by geometry and layered planes, representing my desire to organize, compartmentalize, and understand the nature of memories, history, and spirituality, and that which is boundless and intangible.
